Who is behind EFG? Hi, my name is Jannine. As the wife of a U.S. Marine and mother of two girls, I have learned over the years to tone down my lavish “girlie” appetite for nice clothes (as the appetite often exceeded the income), and discover instead where to find those bargain buys. And I’m glad I did, because I have since come to the conclusion that most of my cheaply acquired wardrobe consists of clothes that I love anyway. My girls share my sentiments too, as least I think they do?? But anyway, the point is, my realization that cheaper, non-brand clothing can be just as stylish and likeable as their over-priced look-alike outfits, is what led me to believe that I could create a line of girls sportswear that’s comparable with the likes of other popular sports-brand names, but priced for the conservative spender. Well, lets not beat around the bush, by conservative spender I mean other military wives like myself (and anyone else who has come to appreciate the “less expensive” clothes in life). And why sportswear you may ask, well that comes from being a fitness-crazed mother with two girls who happen to share my passion for sport. I once read a joke about female runners (I love to run by the way), which implied that a new pair of running shoes would be more exciting than receiving new lingerie. It’s sad to say, but I was able to relate to that joke; I love to buy sportswear and if my daughters and I could be outfitted in the many cute styles available on the market I’d be in heaven. The fact is though, that “nice” sportswear isn’t cheap, you have to be willing to pay for it. So my goal for all you girlie sports lovers out there, is to bring you cute, affordable sportswear that you’ll enjoy wearing. But be patient, my business budget (which is largely dependent on my husband’s generous and loving support, and um, wage) is very modest and as such, I must start with just a few items.  I hope however that you like what’s currently available, and that you’ll stick with me as I endeavor to bring you more and more styles.
